Birthday,Wrestling, RSV and more....

On Saturday, March 6th McCray turned 5!! Mere,Matt and Kids came to visit. It was a really fun day! I can't believe he is already five, where does the time go!! He is such the perfect son, and I feel so blessed to have him for mine!!
McCray also had his first wrestling match on his birthday. This is the first year that he is wrestling and really likes it. He got a medal for fourth place, he was really happy!!
Thanks Tomena for these awesome bunk beds. Logan did an AWESOME job of sanding them down and refinishing them. The boys love them and thankfully it has helped Cahl sleep better.
On Maggie's 3 week old birthday we had to rush her to the ER because her color was off and she was getting blue around her lips. She had RSV and was in the hospital for a couple of days, and came home on oxygen. She has made a full recovery and is off oxygen and is growing like a reed. I still love to cuddle and hug her, I think she is getting spoiled, oh well.
I just thought this was cute, she is SACKED OUT!!!

What we know about Maggie......

After two boys, I was ready to buy girl clothes. I have been really lucky to have sisters who have helped by donating theirs. Maggie looks good in pink. I love dressing her and making her " girlie." She really doesn't like getting dressed, but doesn't she look soo cute!!
Maggie has big feet. I like to call them " Thumper feet." This makes wearing socks challenging. Newborn socks don't fit and the next size up are a little too big. She definitely has my "Blake" feet.
Maggie has really long fingers. Her cousin Morgan who is 7 months older has the same problem. I am hoping that they will both play piano and then they can play duets. I love her long fingers wrapped around mine. Babies hands are just so sweet!!
Maggie does not like the bath too much. Her "nubbin" fell off after about a week, so she was able to finally take a full bath, yeah!! She didn't like it too much, but she did smell really good afterwards!!
Maggie already makes faces. This is her "OOOO" face. I swear she already smiles. I love to watch her sleep and watch her facial expressions. I can't wait until she can talk.

Maggie Jo, Sweet Baby Girl

Maggie Jo Larsen was born on Sunday February 7th at 6:06 am. We arrived at the hospital at 5:20 and she popped out 40 minutes later. It was a fast delivery.
Maggie was 6lbs 3oz and 20 inches long. She is our smallest, but sweetest, baby yet.
Her big brother McCray LOVES holding her. He will sit for an hour and just hold and talk to her. She loves looking up at him. This is the first time he got to hold her since the boys weren't allowed to visit in the hospital with the whole H1N1 business.
Other big brother Cahl loves to poke her and kiss her hands. He likes to hold her for about 5 seconds and then he is done. He is a very big helper and likes to get me diapers and wipes. He is very curious about her and likes to poke her wherever he can.

Meet Sparky

Ever since Sadie's return, McCray has been begging for a puppy. He wanted one for his birthday this year from us. Last Thursday Logan was in Monte Vista at the Radio Shack and the lady there had found some puppies on the road and was giving them away. Logan and I decided to get one and give it to McCray for his early birthday present. McCray's eyes lit up when Logan gave it to him and it only took him two seconds to name him Sparky. These two are in love with each other, the dog follows McCray around and whines for McCray to pick him up. He is a fairly calm dog and loves playing with Sadie. Porter and Sparky are still trying to get used to each other, but Sparky is a pig and likes to eat all of Porter's food. We are not sure what kind of dog he is, but McCray loves him and is doing a very good job of taking care of him.

Tubing on New Year's Eve

On New Year's eve we went tubing with the Larsen's. Chera and Brandon were still down from Denver, so they came along. It was a nice day, but the wind was blowing, so it did get a little chilly. McCray loved going down and even climbed the hill by himself, but Cahl was more interested in playing in the snow with his Jo-Jo.

Cahl did go down a couple of times with Logan and Chera, and it wasn't his favorite. Next year I bet he will like it better.
Logan was HOT with the ice in his goatee!! I did not go down, but came to watch the boys. After we were done we had hot chocolate and breakfast burritos from Pixie. It tasted really good. It was a fun day and we can't wait to go again!!

Christmas Day

I think that this is our last year of not having to get up before 7 am on Christmas. McCray called to us from his bed at 7:30 to see if it was time to open presents. So we are pretty lucky, next year might be different. McCray loves his lincoln logs from Grammy and builds new barns almost every day.
You can spend months getting ready for Christmas, and then it is over in 30 minutes and this is what is left. I find it hilarious, but love every minute of it!!!
The Broncos did not have that great of a year, we all know, but nonetheless we will always be Broncos fans. The boys are showing off their Champ Bailey jerseys given to them by Champ himself. McCray has his bronco toy horse from Santa.
Cahl told Santa that he just wanted toys this year. Santa translated that as a race track and he spent the whole morning playing with it and racing the cars, Good job Santa!! After we opened presents at our house, we went to Granny's and had breakfast and opened presents. Then we went to Papa Don's and said " Hello" and opened presents from him. Home again to take a nap and then we went over to Grandma and Grandpa's to have Christmas dinner and open presents. I forgot my camera for the later festivities, but it was a really good day and a really good christmas.

Christmas Eve

Better late than never. Here are pictures from the holidays. For Christmas Eve we went over to Uncle Rhett's house and had dinner and opened christmas pj's.
McCray and Cahl loved opening their jammies. Here they are sitting with Cash all in their new jammies listening to Papa Don's christmas story.

After Papa Don was done telling his story, McCray and Cash told us a few of their own. Then they dressed up in Calder's football pads and played tackle with Thad. It was a really fun night and luckily by the time we got home the boys were exhausted and went right to sleep. :)
